CARDIAC UNIT
STRESS TEST
This test is used to provide information about how the heart responds to exertion. It usually involves walking on a treadmill or pedaling a stationary bike at increasing levels of difficulty, while your ECG, heart rate, and blood pressure are monitored.
Dr Michel Fattouch
Dr Fattouch is a young, yet very experienced cardiologist. He is well known for his extensive interventional experience with expertise extending from simple cardiac coronarography to the more challenging lower extremities angioplasty.
Dr Fattouch started his medical education at the University Saint Joseph. He traveled to France where he spent 5 years in one of the leading centers in interventional cardiology and vascular units perfecting his skills.
Dr Fattouch is currently performing the cardiac ultrasound at MCC Radiology. He consults also at the MCC cardiology three days a week, where he performs simple ECG, holter reading and stress tests.
ECG AND HOLTER
A Holter monitor is a machine that continuously records the heart's rhythms. The monitor is usually worn for 24 - 48 hours during normal activity.






ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
An echocardiogram is a test that uses sound waves to create a moving picture of the heart. The picture is much more detailed than a plain x ray image and involves no radiation exposure.
